tent camping on a full hookup site?

Is it awkward to tent camp on one of these sites? Will we be surrounded by huge rvs and be out of place? Only these sites are available for our dates. we've never camped at FW before so don't know what to expect. Thanks for your help!

It seems strange that only full hook ups are available...I thought they usually filled up before the partials. I don't think anyone would make you feel out of place. There may not be as many tent campers in your loop as in other loops...but who cares !! As far as I know...tent campers can camp anywhere I would call though just before you leave home and then ask again at check in if there are any partial hook ups available. If so then you would save some money and not waste it on a sewer hook up you won't use.

Nah... not unusual for tents on prefered sites, but yes, you will most likely be surrounded by MH's & TT's - but - hey!! You're at Disney---who cares??? If you're bringing a TV with you - you will have CATV on a prefered site - so don't forget to bring some co-ax with you!

The most unusual "camping equipment" we've seen at FW was a yacht on a tow trailer on the 100 loop!!! Yep --- a Yacht at FW! (I thought I drank too much beer and couldn't remember going Typhoon Lagoon ) As a matter of fact, there was what I call a habitrail of tents on the 100 loop on the site next to the path to Settlement TP this past week end! I say --- go for it and have FUN!!

I wouldn't worry about it, we've done this in the past and I still always see a few tent campers in the preferred loop. Nothing says you can't use a tent there, and you shouldn't feel weird. I always love to look at the tent sites, see what latest tent camping gadgets there are out there.

Tent or RV, you'll have a blast!
