Is this crazy? What is the weather like? Is it too cold? We are going from MId Feb. to the end of Feb. for 2 weeks, staying off site for the first week in a time share. We were thinking about staying at FW for a few days of the other week. What do you think?

Weather is alittle iffy then, but our experience has been that it statrts warming up nicely about mid-February and it can be perfect weather when you plan to be there. I'd say go for it!

We go to FW every year in Feb. You will find some cool nights but it warms up fast in the AM . Bring an electric heater for tent and warm clothes. Being from the north the weather will feel nice compared to home . Fort Wilderness is the best!! don't miss the opportunity. We will be there from Feb.12th to March 3rd

We were at FW last Feb - very nice during the day, but cooler at night. We had an electric heater in our camper so we didn't use all our propane and it came on several times during the night. Definitely have a heater or be prepared to sleep in your heavier track suits. Also, lay down some extra layers between your sleeping bag and the ground to insulate you a bit from the cold. Sure beats the snow, but it is cool at night. Bring lots of layers and you'll be ok.

We were at Ft Wilderness this past February - during the later part of the month. It was "unseasonably cool", so a heater was definitely needed. When camping during that time of year, you need to be ready for anything!

Having said all of that - it sure was nicer than Michigan!!!
