Could we put up a tent on the same full hook-up site our parents' camper is on? We have another site reserved but our RV rental fell through, and it made us decide just to share the site with our folks after all. We want to know if we can have our own tent or if we will need to sleep inside their RV. Anyone know? If we can't put up the tent up on the same site, we'll keep the reservation for the 2nd site. TIA! Christy

Yes, you can have a tent on the same site. Please understand, the full/preferred sites have a smaller tent pad area, so you are a little restricted as to where you set it up.

Have your parents call and ammend their reservation to include your names and to ler them know that there will be a tent in addition to the RV. This lets the site assigner know what site you all will need.

Then nix your reservation.

Some of the sites are also fairly small, and we always end up having our RV hanging over the sand pad, so you might not have much space back there but it is certainly feasible.

We've pitched a 2 man tent behind our trailer at FW many times and never had a problem. I just have it noted on our reservation.

The sites are all diffrent sizes. If you think yours isn't big enough just call and ask to move to a larger site. This has happened to us and they were great about it. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
