Does anyone know if you can add links (with additional stones) to an existing channel set tennis bracelet? If so, are the links standard from maker to maker or would they not match and look out of place? We would need to add about 3/4 of an inch. Thanks for sharing any thoughts.

I'll get the professional answer when dh gets home. But having worked in diamonds myself for a while = depending on how the channel set is connected it should be easy to add links. The problem is matching the diamonds- as in color. When a bracelet is picked it is picked from one lot of diamonds- matching for size ect. When you are going in a random lot chances are they won't match perfectly- but in channel set less noticable.

Could you add an extender? In other words a gold or platinum link instead? Also is this a new bracelet? Or an old one? Old they might be afraid of breaking diamonds.
Again I'll ask dh when he gets home.

Thank you for your help! More details: it is a fairly new 7" 14K gold diamond tennis bracelet. The diamonds are princess cut, G color, and VS1 to VS2clarity. Would an extender look funny?
