Tempura at WS

I have read that Tempura Kiko is just a small area that does not accept PS's. Their menu sounds really good and my husband and I would like to try it.

Is this area usually crowded? We will be there Christwas week and are planning on eating there our first night (Sunday, Dec 19th). Should we change our plans and eat where we can have a PS or try our luck here?

Any opinions would be welcomed! Thanks!!!

It is really small, try to hit it a little early or a little late and you shouldn't have a problem.But, if you want to hit it between 5-6:30 I'd say you'll probably hit a crowd. It's a lovely little place, I love it! We usually go around 2pm, 4pm or 7pm(when everyone is already looking for Illuminations space)

We always eat at Tempura Kiku. The tempura is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It's a great place to stop. We ate there for dinner last year on Dec. 19th and we did not have a wait. We arrived at around 7:30 and were seated immediately. In March we did have a short wait but we waited in the lounge and had a cup of green tea. The lounge has a great view and we love sitting up there. This past August we just wanted a small meal so we ordered pieces of tempura and ate in the lounge. That too was great.
