Just booked a trip to DL in mid October and I'm already worrying about what to pack... wondering what the temperature is like?!?
TIA,
Kari

Daytime highs should be around 80 and overnight lows in the high 50's. Hope this helps.

We have been to DL twice in October, this year will be our third. The temps can vary, but we have experienced warm temps in the day, i.e. 80's and cooler in the evening, i.e. 60's. It is the time of the year for the Santa Ana winds to blow and that usually warms up the place. We have enjoyed the temps but you should keep abreast to the forecast. Last year two weeks before we went, they had very hot temps, i.e. 100's for several days.
We find it to be shorts for the day and maybe a sweatshirt for the evening. HTH! :thumbsup2

the last time we went in october was for 5 days, and all 5 days the temps were in the high 90's and even reached 100 on two of the days. i don't remember it cooling down enough in the evenings to need anything more than a t-shirt. i'm pretty sure it was the second week of october.

Thanks for posting this question. I was wondering the same thing. By the sounds of things, the weather should be nice. But I'll check the weather out a few days before we go just to make sure there isn't an extreme change or difference!

Weather is usually nice until right before Halloween. Then it starts cooling down considerably.

My wife and I will be there 10/15-10/18, sure hope the weather is in the '80s during the day...:thumbsup2

Make sure to check the weather forecast just before you leave, and be prepared for anything in October. SoCal usually has a heatwave at some point in October where it can be in the 90s during the day, but dip into the low 60s at night. The day temps usually drop right at the end of the month, in time for long sleeves on Halloween.

90s to 60s is shorts and Tshirt weather for me...
In the evening if it gets chilly, either a long sleeve T or a lite weight Sweat Shirt should fill the bill...as long as the upper body is warm, all is good.

time to break out my Disney 50 years Sweat Shirt....:thumbsup2

I LOVE YOUR CAT NAMES!

We were at DL last year from 10/21-10/24 and it was terribly hot all 4 days. Two of the days the temps were in the low 100's. The remaining days still hit the high 90's. The evenings were quite warm. People still wore shorts and t-shirts. I believe the temps were in the 70's.

Oh I hope not, one reason why I picked October is I didn't want the 90 -100 degree days.

This year isn't shaping up to be the typical October. With El Nino developing, this models are predicting a year resembling 2004-2005. Temps may be cooler and could be very wet. Weather discussions are pointing to a wet winter this year and not necessarily cold.

We were chilly at night last year in October. We wore jackets and bought hot cocoa. During the day it was nice.
