Does anyone think this would work... I thought we could pick up some Disney temporary tattoos and write our cell number on them for kids to wear each day at the park?
I don't think you could write on them first, because you have to get them wet. I guess I thought it might be an inexpensive way to have an emergency number on the child. They would love to get a new tattoo each day also.
I may have to experiment with this one.
I looked online for temp tattoo paper, and it's very expensive.

Not sure, I just use a sharpie (no tat). I also put a slip of paper in DS's pocket. In addition, I had dog tags made up which I sometimes remember to loop onto his belt.

I will be interested to see what others say!

Hi hillview, I was trying to search here, I know there have been threads about what people put on their kids for IDs. I just have bad luck with the search option! :goodvibes
I've seen the SafetyTats online, but thought it would be great to have something "Disney" and not so generic.

There is a company that makes kids tattoos with your phone number on them. I saved the site on my old computer that crashed. I found it on the passporter message boards (under kids at WDW). They weren't disney characters but they're cute. I use the silicone wristbands with mine & DH's cell numbers on them. Kids love wearing them. I put DD's on her ankle when she was younger so she wouldn't take it off. Disney character tats would be cute. Maybe someone will make them one day.

Are they old enough to memorize the #?

One is old enough to remember(7) the other is 2. I know there are lots of options out there, like the Safety Tats, looking for something they will want to wear, like Disney.
Heck, my folks never worried about such things!;)

Here is a website that I went to and had them custom made, it was around $15 for 6 of them but they lasted 2-3, even with multiple washings....
you can get the plain ones that you write on for $10, they also have them for allergies.

Thanks! I wasen't thinking about them lasting so long. I was thinking I'd need a new one each day. But I have seen them last on my grandson for a week sometimes!

My SIL used these today at SIx Flags Water Park. Worked great. Didn't come off in the water at all. The baby was trying to pull his off though.

I just purchased a dog tag and threaded it on DS shoelace when he was little, and I took a picture of him each morning or whenever he had a change of clothes.
