Tell us something we don't know about you.

It takes me 2 weeks to put up all of my Christmas decorations. (and thats just the inside)

Did not go to Disney World until I was 28 and had to be dragged there by my DS because I promised I'd take him before he was 10.

I'm now obsessed with all things Disney.

I cry everytime my baby (who is now 6) reaches a milestone or if I feel hes just growing up too fast.

I love this thread.

-I'd lived in Virginia, Georgia, Utah, and Colorado (where I was born) before I was 20 and the last three places were on my own-not with my parents.
-I'm a Taurus and I have the stubborness that is supposedly associated with that sign.
-I went to University of Georgia for one quarter.
-I was a cheerleader my Senior year in High School as well as in 7th and 8th grades, but I was more active in drama than in sports.
-I went to the state level of the National Geography Bee.
-I was hit by a car when I was 5 and when I was 18.
-I have met Steve Young of the San Francisco 49ers and Boomer Esiason of the Cincinnati Bengals (but I would rather be able to say that I've met John Elway.)
-I used to shoot a benchrest rifle competitively.

Great thread! Let's see...

I can't stand touching raw meat with my bare hands, especially beef.

I LOVE buying anything for Christmas. I buy the Christmas Ziploc bags, paper towels, cereals, etc. :o

I like to balance my checkbook.

I graduated from college magna cum laude.

My favorite class in high school was Latin.

I won't touch door handles in public restrooms--I'm an expert at using elbows, paper towels, whatever I have to do get out without touching that germy door handle, LOL!

Me too! :(

I got stuck in a small lift in Italy once for just under an hour, it stopped between floors and went pitch black, not like in the films where it stays light.

I have flown on Concorde! :hyper:

I appeared in a ballet when I was 5/6 yrs old in one of the London theatres. The patron was Margot Fonteyn, she watched the show and came on stage afterwards. My friend was sick in the car beforehand due to nerves!

Oh ead79 ~ I'm just like you with not touching restroom door handles!!! I perform acrobatic acts sometimes to avoid touching a door handle!!! :o

I just thought of something else...when I lived in CA, I went to DL sooooooo many times that I soooooooo tired of it & did not go for a very long time. Even when I had visitors come stay with me & wanted to go to DL, I'd drop them off & then pick them up later...I just was sick of Disney! Can you even imagine that???

I hate public restrooms and avoid touching door handles at all costs!

Most interesting and not so well known... I have a tattoo with a "hidden Mickey" in it :)

I'm terrified of heights. It's so bad, I dont like seeing people leaning on the edges of places even in movies.

I'm an avid history fan. My "favorite" war is World War II. I love books and movies about that era and music too.

I have a video of me seeing Michael Jackson and MacCauley Culkin in WDW and screeming to them. M.J. turned and waved at me.

I'm a money straightener. I hate crooked or crumpled up money. All my money has to be facing the same direction and in corresponding order.

My father divorced my mom and married his first cousin.
My mom divorced my father and married his first cousin's ex-husband.
Go ahead, try to figure that one out.

I acted with a real soap opera star.

I was married at 18 and am still married to that wonderful guy after 231/2 years.

I am going to college soon to become a deaf interpreter.

I was a navy brat and lived from coast to coast on one year.

My husband is one foot taller than me.

I am taking chinese medicine treatments for allergy abatement and it's working. I had a donut with a glass of milk last night. Used to not be able to have that much sugar or milk at one sitting. I am very excited about the future of my dinner table from here on out.

My daughters are both beautiful. (oh yeah, you can tell that from my sig :teeth: )

I was an "information operator" way back when you actually had to look up the numbers in huge telephone books.

I lived in Phoenix for 9 years.

I have had 3 stepfathers.

My great, great, great, great, great grandfather was Francis Scott Key.

One of my great, great, great grandfathers spent two years in Huntsville for breaking some men out of the Sabine County jail. He was pardonned but he did the time :) I was researching a feud in East Texas and that's how I found out. I didn't even know this man's name when I started researching.

I have been interviewed twice by local tv news stations here and still have the tapes. :)

Once when VP Dick Cheney came here to San Jose, I got to ride in his Motorcade. It was incredible. They actually shut down the freeways and we were just whizzing right along. I'll never forget it.

Without my contact lenses, I am legally blind in my right eye.

Anyone following the steroids scandal that's rocking the sports/olympics world right now? One of the federal prosecutors I work for, that's his case. I'm the one that created all the subpoenas for all those athletes.

In an ironic twist, while I work for the Department of Justice, my only sibling, my brother (Katelynn's father, but not her daddy), is a guest of the Dept. of Justice. He is in federal prison. Go figure.

I went to college with Mr. Clean's daughter. Yes, the man who is on the front of the Mr. Clean bottle is an actual person, and his daughter and I went to college together. She was a minor celebrity on campus--we'd always be like, "OMG! Her dad is Mr. Clean!" Her name is Linda. Talk about Six Degrees Of Separation!:)

I love Thai peanut sauce and hot sauce, I put one or the other on everything I eat

I'm a vegetarian...my family didn't eat meat starting when I was 12...I somehow went back to meat in college and I've now been meat free again for 9 months and don't think I'll ever go back.
