:coffee:Mornin, DISrs, we are making our third DVC trip this July:thumbsup2 and decided to roam from our home resort and stay at the Beach Club Villas:beach:. We will be in a Studio. We've never been there, except for a character breakfast at the Beach Club in about 2006 and only saw the lobby, resturant and the bus stop.

Any and all infromation would be appricieated, especially pictures!

thanks:wave2:

We enjoy staying at the BCV for the pool and the location to Epcot and HS. The views aren't extraordinary but that matters little to my family. We always eat at Beaches and Cream. Its a great resort.

There are some unusual pictures on that thread!
Every family member & any friend we have hosted at the BCV loves that resort! We enjoy the offerings at the quick service, and sometimes for breakfast we go to the Captain's Grille. There is a breakfast buffet that includes most of the offerings, including lox:goodvibes and omelets:goodvibes, that there are at the character breakfast in the Cape May Cafe, but at a better price.

Enjoy your visit!

Bobbi:goodvibes

We love the pool! We also like to hit Beaches and Cream at some point. I just like the atmosphere so much, the food is good. Cape May Cafe has a great character breakfast.

I haven't done any of the other restaurants there. A short walk to Yacht Club, though, and you can go to Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner. Really nice.

Boardwalk is right across the way with good restaurants and entertainment as well.

You can walk to Epcot through International Gateway and you can take a boat or walk to DHS. Bus to MK and AK.

You can walk over to Epcot for Illuminations in minutes. So leave your villa about 10 minutes before it starts. Find a spot on the bridge between Great Britain and France, watch the show and be back in the villa five minutes after it is over.

We had a late flight and spent the day at the big pool. It was very nice to be able to use the showers at the fitness center before we left. We also enjoyed watching the large turtles from the bridge by the quiet pool.

BCV is our home resort. We love it! It is so relaxing. Walking to Epcot is so easy. After Illuminations, it is fun to walk around Boardwalk and see the excitement and noise on that side of the lake. Then back to the quiet of Beach Club area. So many beautiful view around that area but not from the villas. That is the only real negative I can think of about the resort. That and walking Soarin at opening. Most times by the time we would get to Soarin the guest coming in from the front are already in there. It is frustrating! Some views are really bad while others are ok. We have had views of the high fireworks of Illuminations and even views of Wishes! Parking is close to villas. Buses are fairly close. Boat to Disney Studios is about as long of a walk as International Gateway.

If you are driving, you will likely be able to park close to your villa. I also love the public rooms. They are rarely in use and I love the theming. It's a great location. I hope you will love it.

Awesome photos Eliza!

We will be there tomorrow! The BCV is always our first choice, for us, the location simply cannot be beat. We love walking over to Epcot or DHS and the BoardWalk.

As Bobbi mentioned, the Captain's Grille has a great breakfast, we eat there at least once each trip. We enjoy Cape May as well, but if you want a more relaxed atmosphere, try it!!

Enjoy! :)
