Tell the truth... am I evil?

Long story short - I had a dinner reservation for December 15th at 1900 Park Fare for my dh, dd and I. My dd will be 18 months old at the time of our trip. My inlaws, who live in the Orlando area have decided to meet us for dinner - so I called to change the reservation to accommodate 5 people and was told that there is nothing that day at all. I asked if it would make a difference if it was 4 people, and they had availability. So.... I took it. Will it really be a big deal when I show up a 5 when one of us is tiny and will be in a high chair? I expect them to say something and to have to wait longer but I am o.k. with that. How bad am I really??? :scared1:

Fight with the husband about the in laws not being able to go or fudging? I won't cast a stone.
Ideally I'd say try and find another spot just so you don't have to go thru the whole charade, but if you must have 1900 then be prepared for anything and everything.

Well, I was just jokingly going to say "YES" but I can tell you feel pretty bad about the situation and I can relate to that. But no, I don't think it's that big of a deal. Little one can probably be easily fit in.

I would try not to waste any more time worrying about it.

Happy Planning!

I don't think I would worry about it. With the 18mo old in a high chair that still leaves the 4 chairs at the table for the rest, you can move around to accomodate the high chair.

No bad judgement from me.........:goodvibes

We'll be there the same night...table of 4 but, no high chair. If you get the table next to ours we will be happy to share some of our "floor space" with you for the high chair. ;)

Our family of 5 have been put at a table for 4 a few times by disney. Even when the youngest was 9! As your daughter is only 18 months anyway I am not sure she would even count ;)

I wouldn't worry about it. I do know that 1900 Park Far will not let you have a stroller next to your table as it blocks it for the servers not to mention other guest. :goodvibes

It will make a difference because four=/=five - and that very tiny person will still take up a space at the table. Not judging, just stating.

BUT! It will likely NOT make a difference because ultimately the restaurant will do its best to accommodate you.

Thanks for your kind responses:goodvibes ! Hopefully I don't need to steal anyone's floor space but it was so kind of you to offer!:) I feel better now. Just a mild Disney transgression.

In a black and white world- it's wrong...but we don't live in a black and white world. I would have done the same as you did- after all- your child is only 18 months old. Worst comes to worst- they can take turns sitting on the adults laps.
