This was all stuff that could have been easily skipped over, but totally made their trip. Oh, DD5 liked trying all the Coke flavors at Epcot- she still talks about that.

Where exactly is the Coke thing at Epcot?? We've been to WDW 4 times in the last few years and have never seen this. Small world BTW to the PP, I live in Galesburg, IL and DH works in Peoria

Pastries at the bakery in Norway- Schoolbread :thumbsup2

Dinner at WCC

Tom Sawyer Island-great place to have a picnic lunch and get away from it all

Those are the things my family was bugging me to include in the itinerary!

For December---if your kids are of the appropriate age...be sure to visit with Santa in the City Hall area by MK.

Get Fast Passes for Pooh and then when finished there get FP for Peter Pan (when you first get to Fantasyland).

We haven't been in so long, I don't remember ALL our must do's. We just do everything. ;)

I think as you walk past SE..that it may be on the right somewhere as you are heading to WS. It looks like a glacier (small one though) on the side of a building and they have the misters--so depending on when you go...it looks like misty fog is escaping this building. It should be marked on a park map.

We started taking ours when they were 2 & 4 and go every year, they are now 6 & 8. Didn't notice if you have boys or girls, mine are girls.

MK:
PHILARMAGIC - Fantastic!
Toontown for your little one - the characters are great and Mickey & Minnie's house are adorable.
Castle stage show is always great.
Daytime parade - Share A Dream Come True
Wishes - night-time fireworks.
Spectromagic - Night-time parade

EPCOT
Soarin
Turtle Talk with Crush
Imagination Pavillion is pretty cool

MGM

Indiana Jones
Adventures of the Little Mermaid
Playhouse Disney
Beauty & the Beast Live on Stage
The Great Movie Ride
Stars & Motor Cars Parade
Fantasmic!!

We don't do as much at Animal Kingdom. Make sure when you walk in, you pick up a park map & show guide. Especially at MGM, as you will have plan your day to make all the shows. As a general rule, we take every opportunity to visit characters, because they are so nice to the kids, we never miss a parade or a fireworks show!! As far as your DH wanting to "just hit the gate and walk around", it's not a bad idea at the Magic Kingdom. You don't have to plan your day around shows there, and walking around taking in the sites, is well worth it, as there are many hidden treasures!! The confectionary on Main Street is wonderful, the Barber shop does great "do's" for the kids for $5, Story Time with Belle is in a hidden cove across from Cosmic Ray Cafe, and you would miss it if you didn't know it was there. There are hidden Mickey's all over the park, that are fun notice. Alladin & Jasmine sign autographs near the Magic Carpets every night at 8:00. around 8:25 they come over to the Carpets, and ride with some of the kids. In general, the MK is indeed the Happiest Place on Earth, and we have the most fun, when we relax and take it all in!!

Everything everyone is telling you is daunting, so here is a link to the Park maps to get oriented before you go! Enjoy!

Magic Kingdom: Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Small World, Peter Pan, Pooh, Snow White... for little ones... The "Mountains", Haunted House, and Buzz Lightyear for the older kids. SPECTROMAGIC is my all time favorite parade.

Epcot: Soarin' (phenomenal!), Universe of Energy, and be sure to take a break to watch the dancing water fountain. And one of our very favorites, FIGMENT!

Illuminations!!!!!!

Animal Kingdom: Do NOT miss LION KING LIVE show. Tough to Be a Bug, Dinosaur, Safari

MGM: The Great Movie Ride, Beauty & the Beast Live, Star Wars (my 8 yr son loves this one), RockNRoller Coaster, and the Backlot tour.

:bounce: FANTASMIC!!! :bounce: <------ Do NOT MISS this one - worth the wait and the line... absolute MUST SEE

Okay, those are our faves off the top of my head... will check out lists from previous visits to see if I forgot any. Have a great trip!

I second this! We just got back last night. We did the Epcot Princess bfast and the Chef Mickey...both were at the top of my girl's lists! They LOVED them both. For the Princess Bfast, I would find a Princess dress....I'd say 85% had on dresses...they sell them across the street at a little shop for a small fortune, so be prepared! I saw one little girl in a precious nightgown! It looked beautiful! This along with Chef Mickey's was the highlight of our trip. Our toddler (almost 3) was not scared at all of any of the characters at these meals, unlike some of the ones she saw in the parks.

We've been to Disney since I was little. My favorite things as a child were It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the night parade which was then the Electrical Parade. My nephew loved Buzz Lightyear.
At Epcot we loved the fountains & Journey into Imagination. As adults we love the World Showcase & Illuminations.
At MGM we thought Tower of Terror was the coolest ride ever. I still think that. If you have a chance to do the kid swap or whatever they call it, I think you should try this. RockNRoller coaster is cool, too. But that would be another kid swap.
At AK we liked the 3D show, the Tigers, & the Meercat area was fun for my nephew.
All the other rides & shows are great too. That's why we keep going back. We love it there. Just being there on Main street having ice cream, feeding the birds, & looking at the castle brings back memories as a child. Hope you don't get too overwhelmed. Have a great time.

Aside from all the great things the above posters have said, our big things to do when we go is to try and do as many of the "non-park" activities that are offered at the resorts instead such as Cape May Cafe character meals, Fort Wilderness which has all kinds of activities, some of the other planned activities like the "Wonderland tea party"-appropriate for Boys & girls, (I haven't been on the boards for a year until recently so I've forgotten some of the right names of stuff & some of it may have changed since then-please help me out guys  )

Anyway, we like to mix this stuff in w/the parks to get a break from all the hustle & bustle of the parks-I have to to maintain my sanity w/three young kids! :dance3: :yay: :yay: :yay:

So much to do, have fun!
