Tell me why I need a digital camera

They are not stupid questions because many people don't actually know how they are to use tha camera or to get the pics developed etc.

looks like im leaning towards getting one..i take a ton of pictures, but wasnt sure if i would be able to get the printed easily since im not going to be getting a picture printer...if i can use snapfish and just buy the pictures i want, sounds good to me thanks!

I still use my 35mm far more than we ever use our digital. We are even looking at upgrading to a pro body 35 Nikon F100 and just using that over the D70.

Ah good old woodbrige LOL my DW and I are going to go to the camera show in TO at the international centre in Oct on the 15th. I need more cameraq gear LOL actually I need a bigger camera bag for all teh crap we carry around with us.

I use a Tamrac Velocity 9 as my main gear bag. This way I can put the 1Ds mkII, Sigma 18-125mm, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L (that's one big mother of a lens), Sigma 500 DG Super flash, all the accessories, and still have enough space for my sun-tan lotion and other girlie stuff (such as battery charger, more memory cards, ton loads of batteries -- I always carry 12 AA batteries and 4 camera Li-on batteries as extras)

BTW, whatever you do, don't go to Henry's or Vistek. Go to places like Aden Camera or Downtown Camera for much cheaper price (well, depends what you buy)
