Do you go to TDS or buy them from the Disney website or at the airport or once you get to the parks????

I always buy mine from the local Disney store. If not then I order from Disney.com so I have it when I leave. We just like having them ahead of time.

No discount.

I always buy mine at a park window. If you buy it at TDS or online, you still have to go to a park window to activate it. I think the airport is the only place to buy an active AP outside WDW.

AAA online. There's a discount, but you get an exhange voucher; this is my first year, so I'm not sure what happens when I renew.

I bought ours at the Character Warehouse at the Belz Outlet and then renewed them at the MGM guest services window.

The AP's from Character Warehouse and Character Premier are activated passes as these are Disney owned outlet stores.

I have never heard of buying AP's from AAA online.

I definitely did buy them online at AAA; I didn't really notice, but I suppose that is entirely possible that you have to be a FL resident to get them there.
