What is the process for using the connections vouchers? MUST you tell them in advance of ordering or can you just order and present the vouchers when you get your check? I heard you sign your name or something. Do you need ID, like if the kids use them and do they sign their own name? Are all the CMs familiar with the vouchers? Hope I don't sound doubtful but to pre-pay for all meals of a vacation and then have a problem would be very sad. I've read thousands of posts on these and to break close to even and have all meals pre-paid is all I require of these so I think they're for us but is their an official statement or something stating that they are allowed? Thanks for the help, I know I'm silly.

I don't know exactly where they come from, but Disney vacation club sometimes offers them as a bonus for checking out their timeshares, so I know they are legit. They are exactly the same as the ones from connections. The back of the vouchers says where they can be used.

We never told any of our servers ahead of time about the vouchers and had no problems at all using them. You sign them on the front - there is no name on them to "match up" with an ID so anyone can use them. You just sign them to acknowledge they have been redeemed (so someone else couldn't use them again if somehow they came across them).

We found them very easy to use at both counter service and sit-down restaurants. We saved a lot of money at some locations and a little at others - just depends on your choices of meals and restaurants. We also really liked having meals prepaid so this added "value" to the vouchers for us as well.

We booked a group trip for our Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts and Disney included the vouchers as part of the package. They do have to be signed at the time you use them, but the cashiers always had a pen and gave it to us and asked for signature. It was no hassle and we found them to be a great value.
