I’m driving myself nuts reading the news about respiratory illnesses. Add in seasonal depression and the fact that we haven’t had sun in a couple weeks and I’m feeling like crud mentally. So tell me some good news that I may have missed in the world!

Good news! The Dacia Sandero will receive a redesigned badge and grill for 2023.

My daughter is teaching 1 of our cats to talk using those Fluent Pet buttons that have shown up in Youtube videos. Kitty now has a vocab of 4 words. It's been fun, hilarious, irritating, and amazing all at the same time.

My bamboo has finally grown tall enough that my nosy neighbor can't see us on the back patio anymore.

Genetically modifying immune cells to attack cancer shows a lot of promise ...

"To create these cells, doctors take immune system cells known as T cells from a healthy donor and use CRISPR to re-program the T cells to do three things: Leave alone the healthy cells in a patient's body; hide from the recipient's own immune system, and zero in on — and destroy — whatever cancer the patient is fighting.

"The T cell sucks up against the cancer cell, releases molecules that essentially punch holes in the cancer, and release small enzymatic machinery — you can think of them as Pac-Men," McGuirk says. "They race through those holes and they go in and they chop the DNA of the cancer cell, and the cancer cell dies."

My package with Christmas gifts that has been sitting in a mail distribution center for 6 days has finally moved in the system.

I know, totally frivolous good news, but I was so happy to finally see movement and not "acceptance pending." :D

New Avatar movie debuts Thursday. I'm taking the kids and grandkids to the movie a few days after Christmas, IMAX, 3D.
I was thinking about doing the same Dan, then I saw the run-
time for the movie--192 minutes!:faint:
Maybe someone will post the movie on the wonky Disboards and I can get some kind of 3D effect!:P

Yesterday afternoon my DGDs 5th grade choir sang in front of Walmart to help raise money for the Salvation Army. In addition to Christmas selections, included were Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" and "All You Need Is Love" by The Beatles. They were awesome!
