Tell me, please, what you do with your iPad.

The Ipad is more than a larger Ipod touch. We have both. In order to get the internet you have to purchase the Ipad that also has wifi and the 3g. We bought before they changed the data plan. We pay $30 per month for unlimited data, now the plan is $25 a month for 2GB a month.

We use it for all sorts of things. When we went to a new spot for vacation, we used Urban Spoon to help us find restaurants in the area. My husband uses it more than I do and he uses it for all sorts of things.

Why would you need to pay ANYTHING if you have wi-fi, unless you also wanted 3g? I get wi-fi just fine on my iTouch. You pay for 3g, not wi-fi, if you have wi-fi available to you, as you would in a home network.

You do not have a monthly payment with the wifi only version of the iPad. If you buy the version with 3g capability, you have to purchase a data plan. The wifi version only connects in locations with a wireless network while the 3g version can also be used anywhere with 3g reception. I have the wifi only iPad. My plan is to use it mainly at home where I can use my internet service to purchase apps, movies or books.

Should be exactly the same... wi-fi is wi-fi, no matter which device uses it.

I use mine for books, anything on the internet and the other usual stuff. But my favorite use is to receive and send free text messages and I use it as a level. I was hanging pictures and didn't know where DH put the laser level and remembered I had that app. It was great!

Oh, and I love Pandora. I have found some great music that way and it's free.
