Tell me Jan 12th-20th isn't going to be Busy!!!

I've read that Jan 12th-15th is the really busy weekend? Somebody tell me that it wont be that bad, or that when MLK is over everybody will go away. And I can have Disney back to myself.I'm starting to freak out a teeny tiny bit

That was right around the time I started my internship at WDW. I don't remember it being crowded at all. In fact, the only big crowds I witnessed during my program were Easter/Spring Break (they were horrendous, too!).

Granted, that was almost three years ago. Trends may have changed. And I worked at Disney-MGM Studios, MK may be completely different.

It won't be as crowded as during the summer. There may be more people than normal but it won't be unbearable.

You will almost think they opened the park just for you (as compared to summer). You should have no or very little wait on the rides. A great time to go.

There will be tons of people. It will look like Walmart's Day After Thanksgiving 4-6 a.m. Sale. You'll think that you're in China with the wall to wall humans. Guinness will be on hand to record the massive number of people flowing into the parks. May the force be with you.

Just kidding. It's WDW. Of course there will be people because the weekends would usually be when citizens of Florida will visit. But as others have said it may not be that bad. The New Year's rush will be over so you can take everything with a grain of salt and pixie dust. No worries.

That time of year is usually a ghost town at WDW. Once the three-day-weekenders clear out, you'll have the place all to yourself.

It will be low crowds except for the 12th-15th.. thats Martin Luther King weekend.. Do NOT go to MK on Saturday of that weekend.. been there, done that. Its bad...lol Of course, Im talking my January standards.. I tend to, as my rule, to avoid MK on the weekends at all cost, no matter what time of year Im there..
