...Offer me a better plan. ;)

Christmas morning we are having breakfast at the castle, then we plan to resort hop to check out decorations and avoid the park crowds. Without a car, we will be doing a lot of transferring. Here is my preliminary plan. Are there any major flaws in it or how can it be improved?

From MK, bus to
POR, boat to
DTD, bus to
OKW, bus to
Epcot, bus to
Pop Century, bus to
Winter Summerland miniature golf...play a round, bus to
CBR... get a bite at the food court here, bus to
Epcot, bus to
WL, boat to
MK, monorail to
GF, monorail to
Contemporary...maybe get dessert here, monorail to
Poly, where we are staying.

So, what would you change. Is this too much to tackle in one day? I should also note we will be checking out Swan, Dolphin, BW, AKL, Y&B Clubs at other times during the trip, so Im not missing out on those ones.
Any advice is appreciated.

Looks good to me. But my only question is...is Winter Summerland mini-golf by BB? I'm never sure how to get there. I would imagine that you would take the BB buses to and from the resorts? Looks like fun to me. A lot of running around, but fun. Have a ball!! We'll be doing that next Christmas.

From what Ive heard, buses go from the resorts to Winter Summerland, but not the other mini golf place. Im not sure if thats true, but I was hoping it is.

It's mad crazy, but it should work.

From CBR to WL, you're using Epcot... two potential alternatives...

1 - Use Studios for the transfer (its closer)
2 - Use Epcot, but ride the Monorail, and catch the WL bus at the TTC.

Thanks Tyler!

I originally did have us going to Studios to transfer but when I looked at the map again I thought Epcot might have been a little closer. From the map I have its hard to see just where the entrance would be. But I like that monorail idea better since it will give us another chance to ride it and try for the front. ;)

If at first you don't succeed... ask to wait for the next train!!! It's not a long wait. :)

Yes, you're crazy.
But be sure to post a report of this adventure when you get back!:D

LOL! I will.
Actually it was quite funny. I was going over this with DH and of course he only half listens(hes one of those"thats fine, thats fine" people). So I got through the first 4 or 5 things and he finally said "WHERE are we going???" He thought we were doing all this to actually get somewhere. I told him its the long way from MK to the Poly. ;)

OK, you're crazy ;)

I think I'd look into renting a car for a day. To me it would be worth the $50 or so rather than spending all day riding the bus. (No offense Tyler)

Thanks ducklite! I didnt even think of renting a car for only 1 day. We just might look into that.

Katie--

I think your crazy too, but what do I know...I took a 3 day solo trip in April, and did 4 parks in one day. TWICE.

Let us know how it goes.

ROFLMBO!!!!!!:teeth: I guess driving around the streets of WDW would be a heck of a lot better than driving around the streets of Boston. "But did she ever return, no she never returned..."
