Tell me anything about River Country water park

Why was River Country water park closed? Will it re-open? Can you see it right now? What are they doing with it right now? I have not been, was it a nice park? Please tell me anything you knoe about it. Thanks.

Not to sound rude, but didn't you already make a thread about this a few hours ago asking the same questions? Anyways it was a fun water park, not nearly as large as BB or TL. They closed it because of water conditions and I imagine liability reasons. You couldn't have little kids swinging into everybody and coming down on top of them.

We went to River Country and had the best time. This is before they had typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. I remember it having the biggest swimming pool that I had ever seen with crystal clear blue water. My kids, who are all grown, loved the water slides. There was a counter service restaurant where they had hamburgers and fries. River Country is not going to reopen. I don't know what is there now. Maybe someone on these boards will know.
