Tell me all the great things about DLP?

Hi Guys

I was hoping that you could all share some of the great things about Disneyland Paris?

I visited DLP for 1 day in 2003. My now DH took me to paris for a weekend and knowing nothing about Disneyland at the time we spend 1 day there and only entered 1 park.

Now, a wedding and 5 trips to florida later we are thinking of how much we would like to go back to paris.

When we visited we were disney virgins, I can't remember what rides we did or did not do

PLEASE tell me the full story.. tell me what is the same as florida and what is different? tell me about the hotels? tell me what I have to pre book and what I dont... I am used to making ADR's months in advance for florida!

Tell me what I might miss and what I must not!

We are looking at a christmas time (mid Dec) trip as I would love to see the xmas decorations and will never be able to make florida for christmas.

I love the gorgeous details of DLRP - Main Street USA, the arcades (Discovery/Liberty), Fantasyland. Some of the best attractions in my opinion are - Big Thunder Mountain RR, Tower of Terror, Pirates -and I love the shows - Animagique, and enjoy Lights Motors Action. I'd also make sure I saw all the Christmasy events and shows!

Christmas is a wonderful time to visit. At that time of year I'm spellbound by.....
The decorations in the park, snow falling on Main street, The Castle shimmering- looking like it's covered in ice, Father Christmas's workshop, Mickey's wonderland show,The OUAD Parade, Fantallusion- well just about everything is fab!

Have you visited their website? There are ride descriptions with pics, so you can see what's the same as/different to Florida.

Also, one person might think something is 'great' but another person might not. You're probably better off doing some research and getting a feel for it yourself.
