Why you love it, best building, everything! Can you see the monorail in ALL of the LV rooms? Which rooms have double sinks? Is one bldg more convenient than the others?

I've been to the other Poly website to check it out, but was looking for a little more input. Thanks!

I would like input too, please. We are planning our first Poly- LV trip for February! :cool1:

I really enjoyed our stay at the Polynesian, Lagoon View. I recommend the Tahiti building, 1st floor because you can walk right out to the beach. We could see the monorail for the MK and CR. Tahiti has double sinks. Tahiti is convenient to the TTC, but not really to the GCH. :)

I had LV in Hawaii, Tuvalu and Tahiti.

My favorite was Tuvalu because you are right on the water. No beach (though there is a beach very close that nobody ever uses), no palm trees, no people walking by (like Hawaii), no nothing. There are a few palmy things, but you have to look down to see them. If you look out the window or are sitting on the balcony, all you see is water and stuff in the distance. I never stayed on the 1st floor, though.

Hawaii is more public than the others, IMO, but you stay "club level," which may appeal to you. You are right on the beach where they pipe in the music for Wishes, which is nice. It is close to the pool, too. I'm kind of anti-club level for my own silly reasons, so I don't recommend it. There are plenty of folks who will, though. :)

Tahiti is on a beach that isn't used much. There are palm trees there that block your view, though. I saw about 1/2 of the EWP because of them. It is about as far from the Great Ceremonial House as you can get, I think...it is a pain when it rains. But it is very close to the Ticket and Transportation center, which is a big plus.

Depending on where you are, you see more or less of the Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom/castle and Contemporary. There are different kinds of boats zipping about (and the ferry honking its horn, which you will hear if you're in Tahiti), the EWP at night (if Wishes isn't at 9:00), Wishes itself :) , and sometimes you'll see someone parasailing over at the Contemporary.

I think Poly Lagoon views are some of the prettiest in WDW. But you do pay for them, that's for sure. Unless you luck out and get it for free, that is. :)

We have stayed 1st floor Tuvalu LV and it is also very nice. Just a bit of lawn and landscaping between you and the lagoon so no one walks in front of your patio. Nice view of the castle from some rooms, too. Tuvalu's bathrooms only have one sink.

I am not anti-club level, but it is not worth the extra $100+ per night to our family. But if I win the Powerball tonight, it is going to be LVCL for 2 weeks every year:rotfl2:

Tahiti will have 2 sinks in the bathroom. More important to us is the extra counter space on the vanity. The rooms are also slightly larger than those in Hawaii or Tuvalu.

We also had a LV room in Aotearoa. We were so excited to be able to see the castle from our balcony on that our first trip to Disney (and back then the room was considered Garden View!)

There really are no bad views at the Polynesian.:goodvibes

We had a lv at both Poly and GF. Poly is a direct, straigh forward view of the Castle. You could see the fireworks and the EWP. We were in the Tuvalu building, 3rd floor.

At GF we've had two different lv rooms. Sago Cay lv room was perfect - dead on view of the castle (which looked much closer than Poly view, but not as close as a CR view!), and you could see the monorail, but not EWP. THe lv in Big Pine Key was just okay. Straight ahead was the "little island". When you looked to the left you could see MK, Castle and Train Station to the right was the Poly.

In order my favorites were - Sago Cay (GF) lv, Poly lv, Big Pine Key lv. HTH.
