I know nothing about HHN, please tell me everything about it. What is open, are there any good souvies, do they do a pic for guests, will I get too scared, How scary is it??? :scared1: :scared:
..Also, would it be a good surprise for my DH?

Thanks all...

Also, can someone tell me where I can get a UPC off a specially marked Coe bottle? If someone has an extra one I could use I would love it because by then, We will be official FLORIDA residents...

Thanks

You may want to scroll down and just read some other threads on here abou that. There have been some pretty extensive descriptions of it on here. And yes that would be a great surprise for him!

I read a few threads but I am missing something...I was wondering how the night goes? Is it really scary? On a scale of 1-10, how scrary is it? What do you usually do during the night?

I know that at MNSSHP, I get there at 4, have an ADR for Liberty Tree, GO on some rides then see the second parade etc, etc...but I am at a loss for how the flow works at HHN...

Thanks

Is it scary? Well, it isn't called Halloween Happy Nights. I'm not sure what you mean by "how the night goes." HHN's attractions are described on their website.

Believe me, it's SCAREY! but, since you'll have your DH with you it won't be that bad. :) at least not as bad as me and DD have it walking around by ourselves with monsters jumping out all over the place. consider yourself lucky you'll have somebody to hang on to. My DH hates haunted houses and stuff like that so he choses to stay home that week. :wave2:

HHN at Universal is nothing at all like MNSSHP. it's blood, guts, gore and screaming with monsters all over the place. it's foggy, creepy and you never know what kind of creature might be lurking in the foggy mid-ways waiting with their knives ready to.. take my word for it, it's scarey. but it's fun. in a sick sort of way. :rotfl2:

Yep, not to mention there's usually lots of chainsaws, air blowers and flame throwers everywhere. There's places where it can be VERY dark and the scareactors look for people who act scared so they can make them more scared.

On a scale of 1-10, it's gotta be up there with a 9 or a 10 but it all depends on who you are and how scared you get at certain things. Also some years have been scarier than others.

What do you guys do first when you arrive? What time can you go in? What is the "Can't Miss" things on your list?

Sorry so many questions, I just can't seem to get the "Disney" feel out of my nmind and I don't have a point of reference...

Well, the event changes every year with completely different haunted houses. This year is unique however that they're bringing back modified versions of the best of the past year's houses.

There's also some rides open, and those are usually not as crowded as the haunted houses.

Well, we usually do the stay and scream and when a house opens, get in line.
I say one of the things not to miss is the Bill and Ted show. beware though, it can get kinda raunchy (in my opinion).

I've been attending HHN since 1999 and am thrilled to death they are bringing it back to the studios. it was always scarier over there.
rides? who rides the rides on HHN's? :rotfl2:

I can't wait. already have my frequent fear pass and I'm ready to go.

if you can sit through a horror movie and not wet your pants, you will do fine at hhn.

i am completely and totally addicted to hhn.

Have your husband walk behind you durnig the houses so when you scream and jump back you bounce of him. (That was my first year statagy and it worked nicely.... this year I am going with Macraven so I have no one to bounce off of....)

I suggest trying to get the stay and scream pass... it doesnt let you in early, meaning you have to have aready have that day's ticket (unlike MNSSHP where they let you in at 4 if you have that ticket... stay and scream you have to already be in the park... if that makes sense... you need to pay the regular days addmission) But you get to wait in the special area and hopefully get 2 houses done before the rest of the crowd gets there... really helpful)

House lines get REALLY LONG... so agian if you can swing the express pass too, that helps... if not, please please do stay and scream... best would be getting both...

Bill and Teds show... MARVY! Raunchy, crude at times, but the spin offs are amusing... :-)

Eatting... not much in food is offered.. some bad counterservice and turkey leg booths...I suggest eatting first....
