I will be attending a conference April 18-22 so will be there during Flower an Garden time. Of course i will be there right after Easter but hopefully it won't be too crazy in the evening.

I am wondering what are some of the highlights that you have experienced during this event?

Are there must see things?

Do they have additional food offerings that i should check out - different food carts and such?

I know this isn't as big of a deal compared to Food and Wine, but from some of the pictures - Epcot looks amazing.

Epcot is Amazingly beautiful for Flower & Garden.
Don't miss the topiaries, they are something else
Yes there are about a dozen food booths which feature spring focused foods and beverages.
I don't know why you don't think it will not be crowded in the evenings ???

I agree about topiaries...fun to look at all of them. The carpet of flowers looking toward future world is fabulous. We also enjoyed looking at bonsai trees in Japan. image.jpg

We enjoyed it! The topiaries are fun to find, and the colors of the flowers throughout the park were stunning. My son loved the butterfly garden and the special playgrounds they set up for kids. There were some special food stands with a focus on local and/or fresh foods that were very good, but there weren't too many, honestly. It's not like food and wine at all. The tea shop in England does a special tour of their garden if you like tea. Overall, for us at least, what was nice about F&G was how it just beautified the park (and the playground between The Land and World Showcase with rocking chairs in the shade really was just peaceful and fun).

Think a mini F&W. Food booths set up, not as many and not representing other countries, vendor booths set up, topiaries, different bands. The Festival Center is only open on weekends (what's up with that?) but it's a fun time to go. I go twice a year, F&G and F&W and we spend part of each day at Epcot during the two.

I love F&G. My favorite time. There's a bunch of food booths like F&W. Lots & lots of flowers everywhere. Topiaries, & mini gardens to walk through. The event center has seminars, movie of how topiaries are done, & displays. Some garden clubs have booths. Lots of event specific merchandise. Butterfly house. A lot of fun.
