DF and I will not be getting married at WDW, we are getting married outside the parks. I read that they have honeymoon photo sessions at the park, is that right? If so.....please, tell me where, how much, etc.. If any one has pics....can you please send or post them!!!!!

Hi tinkerrn,,

We were married in Disney last year and decided to do the honeymoon photo shoot. It was actually a lot of fun,,*smiles*. Im glad we did it,,it made the day special. We were offered this shoot as part of our wedding package as we opted for an outside photographer for the actual wedding. The only thing I would recommend if you decide to do it is make a list of the places you would like to have pictures taken,,we didn't even think about it and I hadn't been to Disney since I was little so we were at the mercy of our photographer. The pictures turned out nice,,but there were other places I might have like to have pictures taken that I didn't even know about till later in the day. Our photographer seemed like she would've have taken any picture we wanted,,we just didn't ask,,:(

Ultimately,,I would do it again though because it was a lot of fun,, :flower:

Here is a link to our honeymoon shoot photo's :

For more info on this you can call Disney Photographic Services,,I probably still have the # around here somewhere I will post it if I can find it,,:)

Congratulations and I hope you have a great time in Disney!

I just recently received info from DPS, a document called "Intimate Wedding - Photo/Video-Upgrades. The document includes a list of options (I'm pretty sure it includes the Honeymoon Photo Shoot), what they include, and their cost.

If anyone would like a copy, let me know, just PM me with your email address. I will "warn" you that even though the document is in .pdf format, it's still a LARGE file (2 MB).

honeymoon photographic session $295
includes guided tour of the disney themepark of your choice to determine photo locations (includes cinderella castle at magic kingdom, world showcase at epcot, tower of terror at disney-mgm studios or the tree of life at disney's animal kingdom.) twenty (20) 4x6 prints in a beautiful white leather bound album. session does not include admission to the park. casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended.

per the disney event group wedding photography sessions packet.

My DH and I would like to spend an enchanted week for our 20th Wedding anniversary. A second honeymoon, if you will. I would love to do the Photo package as a second wedding album. Since we will be travelling in the summer I was thinking about a white sundress and something simple for him. Can anyone book the photo package or is it just connected to the weddings at Disney stuff?

:love2: Celebrating our 20th May 2008

I too am wondering if the photo package is something that we can buy without the wedding/vow renewal. I am planning on wearing a white sundress as well and somethign casual for him. These pics are a lot of money and I want them to look good!

I just went to the wedding/vow renewal pages at the Disney website....They are quite proud (as I would be if I could afford it :earseek: ) of their wedding packages. I was wanting to do it for just the two of us. How wonderful it would be to renew our vows in France...Oh, la la. I'll just dream on. I do want more info about the photo session though. That, I could swing.

Fairy dust to all of you! :grouphug:

I hear ya!!! LOL!!! Those packages are wonderful! But way too pricey for our budget! We are getting married outside of the parks. The photos are way easier on the budget, and just as memorable.

My fiance and I are honeymooning in DW in October, and have booked a Disneymoon photoshoot. You don't have to get married at Disney to do it, and since we couldn't afford a disney wedding, I wanted the photos. One of the best things about the photoshoot is that you get to have pictures taken in the castle garden!

YAY!!! I was hoping someone would say this... Wonder how far out you have to book this! Maybe I'll call today!
