I have never stayed here, but since I could not get the code at CBR I switched my ressie to CSR for $104 w/tax I could not pass up the bby code. Anyway, is it nice here? Is it in need of refurbishment? Does the spa offer spa services like massage etc? I really hope that I will like it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

CSR is a very pretty resort. I was there last May/June and it was quiet...more peaceful than the other moderates. I enjoyed getting up and walking in the morning. I could walk almost all of the way around the lake without seeing a soul. My son absolutely loved the pool area. I thought the resort was very clean, and nothing I saw indicated that it needed to be refurbished. I got towel animals and the staff was very attentive.

I have two complaints about CSR. The first is the food court. I hated the way it was set up, the forced gratuity, and the high prices.

The second is that the conventioneers overwhelmed the lounge at night. I like to have a drink or two in the evenings when I'm on vacation and at the other resorts it's no problem. At CSR, when I was there anyway, there were dozens of heavily drinking people in the bar and I'm not used to that at Disney. Usually it's a much more laid back atmosphere.

We stayed here in 98 and it was nice. I love the pool area - it's my DH's favorite pool out of all the WDW resorts we've stayed at. The food court is different than a regular food court. You're seated by a host/hostess, you get silverware, the host/hostess brings you your drinks...but you pick your food from a variety of stations. It's kind of neat. Our room was in teh casitas section on the first floor with a king bed. It was fine for the two of us. I'm sure you'll get more replies. There's even a website someone has put together but I don't know the link.

Enjoy your trip!

Where to begin...CSR is a great resort. It has the best pool of all the moderates along with a awesome silde, terrific transportation that is not share with any other resort and is beautifully landscaped. It is very similar to CBR. Both are large resorts. CSR has a mexican theme versus CBR's caribbean theme. The cabana section of CSR is probably close to that of CBR. The spa does offer massage. I'm looking at an older club services guide so don't quote me but for a
