Your breakfast experience at the Concourse Steak house and Kona's

We at at the Concourse for breakfast on Easter 2003. I don't remember what we all had but we were all pleasantly surprised and liked it a lot. If you are looking for a sit down big breakfast I would definitely recommend it. I haven't eaten at Kona for breakfast since before it was Kona. If it is anything like lunch or dinner though it is great!

We have eaten breakfast at the Kona Cafe a few times. Its wonderful. The Tonga Toast is unique and very good. I tried the pancakes last time and thought they were some of the best Ive ever had. Im actually torn over which to get on our next visit in July.
DH always gets the eggs with meat, potatoes & biscuit and he finds it to be very good and a high quality. He is one who really likes a good breakfast and hes always happy here.

Hi! I also have a couple of questions about Kona. I think I ate there when we stayed at the Poly many years ago, I was only in eighth grade, but don't remember it much. We have nine in our party, would Kona accomidate us nicely or would it be hard. My other question is what the heck is Tonga Toast, is that the banana stuffed french toast?

Yes, anditoo, Tonga Toast is the banan stuffed french toast coated in cinnamon & sugar. Its a little greasy, but very good.

We have been to Kona with a party of 7 and we were seated around a round table. We have also been with a party of 8 when we were seated along a long bench for one side of the tables, then we had seats on the other side of the table. Does that makes sense? When we first got there they actually set up an extra seat at the head of the table so Id say 9 could fit together without a problem. However, like most WDW restaurants, they probably wont be able to guarantee you will be seated together when making the PS, but upon arrival they will do their best to accomodate you. Good luck!

DH and I love Kona Cafe for breakfast! We take the boys to the Pirate Cruise then hop back on the monorail for a leisurely brunch at the Polynesian. The Tonga Toast is awesome (but huge!) and I love their Kona coffee! The only real coffee I can find on Disney property. :p
