Tell me about your lunch experience at LTT

We decided to book lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. This table service doesn't get as much attention as its character counterpart CP and seems to be less popular than the Plaza.. have you had lunch at LTT and what was your experience?

We had a great experience there in February. Everybody loved their food, the atmosphere was fine, we had good service and the prices were decent. The only negative we encountered was that there's just not enough bathroom stalls in that place. We had an early ADR (first seating) so we were obviously seated right on time, just after they opened the restaurant.

I wouldn't hesitate to eat lunch there again.

I LOVE LIBERTY TREE! Food is absolutely DELISH! Its one of my fave places in MK and a must do for every trip.

And the previous poster is right about the bathrooms. Its ridiculous that there's only 2 stalls in the womens washroom!!!! But other than that, i love this place.

LOVE LTT!! one of our favorite lunches in wdw.
love having the turkey meal- always soft and juicy!

They also have one of the best burgers in Disney.

LTT is our favorite TS restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. While we enjoy their dinner, lunch is just..wonderful! The food is so good as is the service. I wish we would have been able to squeeze it in during out next trip, but we are trying CRT in its place. A part of me is wanting to cancel CRT in place of LTT. It's that good.

We love eating lunch there. The burgers are good and ooey gooey toffee cake is sooo yummy.

LTT for lunch is our go to place when we spend the day in the MK. The food is good. It's reasonably priced. Pretty good service.

Love eating lunch at LTT. It is usually not very crowded and we've always received very good service. They sometimes have things off menu as well, like I had a wonderful cup of vegetable soup when we were last there.

Save room for the ooey gooey toffee cake.

I totally agree! It was the best salad I had during our trip last year. I've been trying to recreate it at home. Minus the chicken.

The food was good, but our service took FOREVER.

Granted, we had an ADR at 12:45, but we were in Liberty Square at 12:20 and decided to go ahead a check-in. Figured there's wasn;t enough time to do anythign else (we just got off HM). Now all week with our ADRs, we had a great experience checkign in early. I wasn't expecting to be seated right away, as the place was crowded, and I was told that it would probably be near our seatign time. No biggie I thought. I'll just enjoy the time to rest. DD had fallen asleep on HM, so I thought that at the least she'd have a 20-30 minute nap before we got seated at the table.

So around 12:50 (ADR was 12:45) my husband starts fussing at me, because OMG ITS PAST OUR TIME. I told him that it was okay to be a few minutes off, but yet 5 mins later he starts on me again. So I nicely check with one of the hostesses, explaining I am the one being fussed at, and she nods and understands. 5 mins later at 1 p.m. we are seated.

Then we get seated at our table. And we wait, and we wait, and we wait. No waitress. People who are seated near us that have other wait staff are helped, we sit and wait. Finally I am reachign the point where I am either going to 1) walk out or 2) complain when our waitress finally arrives and takes our drink order. DD is asleep and I order a drink for her in case she wakes up.

Then we wait.

Still waiting.......

still waiting, mind you, our drinks haven't arrived (sodas and water). DD wakes up. So I quickly run through the kid's menu with her. She decides on something and puts her head down on the table.

Finally a runner shows up with our drinks.

My FIL mentions he's plannign on ordering an appetizer. I groan silently to myself, as now I know this meal will take forever.

To FF a bit, waitress finally comes and takes our order, we all order same thing (turkey) and order for DD. We eat, order deserts and, settle the bill.

10 mins later I am about to ride BTMRR with the hubster when I look at my cell phone and realize our meal took 2 HOURS!!!!! 2 HOURS!!!!! I wasted 2 hours of my life at that place. 2 hours of MK time I can never get back. I've never had a TS meal last so long.

Anyway, I rate the food as good. Raelly enjoyed the turkey (and I can tell you that I only eat turkey one day a year on Thanksgiving and really prefer a restraunt turkey meal to family made turkey). But, I'd really watch your server. I should have spoken up sooner, but live and learn.

Will I go back? Yes, we want to try dinner sometime. But not for a while.

I have just read the new improved kids lunch menu....I had scrubbed it from my plan due to the kids options....now they have a great choice. I am so glad because I really want to try this place.

LTT is always our lunch spot in MK. The burgers are very good!

My DH and I had lunch there in November and LOVED it! I wanted to go back on my next trip, but we can't fit it in for lunch, so we're doing dinner instead, I hope it's just as good!

One of the best kept secrets at MK. Tip: Rolls available by request only. Used to be standard.

I think it's great for character face time, but as for the food, the meats all tasted like processed meats...i was expecting the food to be much better

Love LTT. We go there every trip, sometimes twice. We've gotten their burgers, salads, pot roast & pasta - all very good. The ooy gooy dessert use to be my favorite but last time (Nov) wasn't as good as all the previous times, I hope that was just a one time thing.
