What's all the fuss about this particular brand of candle? I read all about them on the CB, and before that I never heard of them. At this time in my life, with two small boys, I am not doing any kind of open flaming, but boy, you guys LOVE your Yankee Candles!!
Are they the kind that you buy from a "Tupperware" type party? Or is there a chain of stores? (I am assuming you can't get them at WalMart.)
Would love to hear what you like about them, your favorite flavors, etc. Educate me...
You can buy Yankee Candles at Hallmark, some of the collectibles stores, Bed-Bath-and Beyond, Linens 'n Things, and online.
If you order them online, and spend more than $50 which is not difficult for Yankee Candles, you get free shipping.
The fragrance list Yankee has is one of the largest I've ever seen. There is truly something for everyone.
Yankee Candle also has a large selection of candle accessories such as shades, plates, tart burners, votive holders, tea light holders, etc.
My favorite scents are Fireside (now discontinuted, but they'll bring it back), Patchouli, Witches Brew (black colored Patchouli candle0, Maple Walnut, Christmas Wreath, Home For The Holidays, and MistleToe.
No doubt some of the scents are much stronger than others. For instance, the Patchouli tart is much stronger than the Patchouli candle.
The votives are only $1.50/$1.60 each and the tarts are $1.25 (?) each. The big jar candles are expensive and cost about $20. Some of the scents are worth it, and some of the scents are so weak you might as well just burn the $20 bill for candle light.
Give them a try, but I'm warning you, they're addictive.
HTH.
