I've never been to Yak & Yeti before and my family and I decided that we will try out the table service this summer. I love Asian food and I already looked at the menu and I decided I wanted the Chicken & Shrimp Lo Mein. Can you guys tell me your opinions of the restaurant? I want to be confident that I will like eating here.

Ate there for the first time on Christmas eve, my DW and I both lovedit. Will definatly eat there again.

I've eaten at a lot of really good, authentic Asian restaurants. Yak & Yeti food was decent but nothing amazing. That doesn't mean that you won't have a splendid time, just recognize the food might not be mind blowing.

I really liked the theming of the restaurant though. They did put a lot of time into thinking of how the restaurant could have come to be in how it would look. The backstory is that a wealthy man and his family came into hard times and opened up part of their house as hotel. The Yak and Yeti restaurant being part of that establishment. It is decorated eclectically with both Asian items interspersed with European items from his travels. Make sure you read the back of the menu when you go and keep your eyes open for all the Disney's attention to detail with decorating.

The dim sum basket, fried cream cheese wontons (for dessert), and spiced chai were good. I would not suggest the curry, since mine was substandard.

I still feel the meal was well worth it all told. Have a great time!

In one word disgusting. The asian food at your local mall food court may even be better, dont order the chicken wings unless you like fatty soggy wings.

I haven't been there yet. For what it's worth, I've heard mixed reviews about it. I would give it a try though, seems a little pricey though, and TS throughout WDW have had mixed reviews lately. Good luck deciding!

We ate there for our first time a few weeks back. We were on the Deluxe plan & ate at Tusker House at breakfast so wanted a different place at lunch. We figured we'd really not like it as we aren't into odd foods. However, we loved it! It was really really good!

Don't really remember the name of the appitizer but was lettuce chicken tacos or similiar...wow! was really good. Had ribs for the meal & one of the best desserts of the week...mango pie. That pie was the best ever. Plus,we had awesome service & a very nice waitress....a winner all the way around for us!

Next trip this place is on our must eat at list & it was only a filler to use a leftover credit this time. I think y'all will love it!
