We have a day planned at DTD and have an ADR at Capn Jacks for lunch, but I don't think my girls, 13 and 10, will like anything on their menu so it got me thinking about Wolfgang Puck Express. It is CS, correct? Is the service fast? Are there tables in/out of the restaurant? No ADR, correct? What about Rainforest, do you need ADR for that for lunch? Thanks so much for the help, just trying to find someplace that the whole family will enjoy and I want to stay away from MCD's.

This place rocks! There are 4 to 6 tables inside and many more outside. It is CS and the food is brought out to you very quickly. We have eaten there many times and the pizza is always wonderful, caesar salad flat bread is great, the BBQ quesadilla is great but huge, DH loves the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes but my favorite is the pulled pesto chicken sandwich on foccaccia bread. They have fresh brewed mango ice tea too.

Huge portions of awesome food at very reasonable prices....gotta luv it

We really liked it. You order inside and the food is brought out to you. Many of the same items as he serves in the Cafe and other restaurants, like the pizza and salads. I think it is a great choice for a CS meal.

P.S. Just to avoid confusion, Wolfgang Puck Express is the CS on the marketplace side. There is also a Wolfgang Puck Cafe on the West side that is TS and takes the DDP (and ADRs) and a dining room above it which is not on the dining plan.

We had a great meal there on our last trip. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad (good size portion) and my boyfriend got the 4-cheese mac-n-cheese which was excellent. The service was great and we would definitely return.

We picked up some pasta from the express in December and it was very good. It was freezing outside and the heat towers didn't help a whole lot, and the retired New Yorker behind the counter taking orders was a bit of a codger, but the food was great and still warm when we got back to CBR. We'd be happy to eat there again.

Puck's express is a place we eat at on every trip. The food is excellent, especially for counter service and they have a good variety. Service is reasonably quick... slightly longer than a normal CS but the quality of the food makes it very worth it.

We ate there because we didn't have an ADR anywhere and absoloutely lucked out. This trip I am definatly going and its hard to believe its on a CS - well worth a visit to DTD. In fact I am going there as soon as we check in our hotel and wait for our room to be ready. This is the best place, great food, better than most TS meals!

Great to hear all the wonderful reports on Wolfgang Puck. I'm going to cancel our ADR at CapnJacks and head over there instead, their menu looks awesome!!:cool1:

Hands down, best CS in all of WDW IMO.

I love the BBQ chicken and garlic mashed potatoes! To die for!

That BBQ chicken quesadilla looks awesome, thanks for the pictures, now I'm going to have to raid my fridge:lmao:

Not to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone know if you can you eat inside or do you have to eat outdoors (I'm referring to the Marketplace location)? I'll be 6 months pregnant when we're there and there is no way I'm eating outdoors!!! lol. Thanks!

They have a few tables inside for you to sit. It is also nice and cool which will make eating enjoyable for you. Goodluck!

The chicken bolognese was wonderful when I got it last year, the picture makes my mouth water, DH got some sort of pizza I don't remember which one, but it was very good. Whilst we were eating the waiter asked us would we like to try some complimentary beef salad as the chef was experimenting, we expected to get a small sample, it was huge and very very good !

Are there any restrictions for WPE on the DDP?

I've been wanting to try the location. It's right near Earl of Sandwich, right?

We have been there quite a few times. The food has always been excellent. They do a very good breakfast too, which fits in nicely with a trip to Typhoon Lagoon for us. (The breakfast for some reason isn't on the DDP if that's important to you.)

And for those who haven't been there and are worried about eating outside, the outside are is under cover so you won't be eating in the sun.

We also loved WPE. I had a spinach and mushroom pizza, DH had a turkey sandwich which was no ordinary sandwich! Daughters had macaroni and a pizza. We were very impressed with the selections and the food and will definitely be making a trip back there in September (FREE DINING):cool1: . There were 2 items you couldn't get on the dining plan--ravioli was one and I'm not sure about the other. You also couldn't get bottled drinks. Dessert choices were cookie and creme broulee, I believe. No brownies. Great place!

I was 8 months when we went in March. We did eat outside and it wasn't too bad we are there again that week and just got it to go. It was great because we went back to POFQ and just relaxed and I could nap;)

I ate breakfast there in May and it was on the DDP. I had the cornflake crusted french toast with syrup and fresh fruit and a bottle of grapefruit juice. I asked before I ordered if breakfast was on the DDP and the CM said 'of course. It will be 1 CS credit'. If I had paid OOP it would have been $11.13.

That's the first time I've eaten breakfast there, but we nearly always eat lunch there once on every trip. I had eaten lunch there earlier in the week and had linguine chicken bolognese, creme brulee, and mango tea. The price would have been $17.95, if I had paid OOP. Anyway, my point is that you can use your CS credits there for both breakfast and lunch/dinner and it is a very good deal for a CS credit.
