It seems as if I have seen the old "Fantasy in the Sky" from there one year... How is "Wishes" from 'Ohana? I will be with family that has never been to WDW and "Wishes" will be on while we are dining. Unfortunately, this will be their only night to see the show. I am just hoping the view is good and the sound is piped in to the restaurant.

It is wonderful to watch Wishes from Ohanas. We specificly made res
at 9:30 during our last trip for this reason. It made our dinner so special. Music is piped in, the only thing is not all tables have a view, so make sure you are seated at a table with a view. We had a perfect table. Fireworks are quite a distance away but we really enjoyed watching them. Made ressies for this aug. same time. Also, by this time the games and show are almost over and crowds are leaving, so if you are going for that reason you might want to go a little bit earlier.

The view of Wishes from Ohana IMO is not always the greatest. Like PP said, it depends on what table you are at. If you are against or near a window, then its okay, but you could also be seated in a corner where there is no view at all. We've seen Wishes and Hallowishes from Ohana, nothing spectacular to us, we liked the view much better from the Poly beach (although no music) or from Narcoosees. If seeing the fireworks is your aim, make sure you tell them that when you check in at the podium.

CG has the best place for Wishes viewing outside of the parks...but I realize that may not be the dining experience your looking for.

We have seen Wishes twice from 'Ohana and enjoyed it from that vantage point. We did not plan to see it and we did not request a table near the window so it was a little :wizard: that we were not expecting.

Our ADR is for 7:30pm on 12/27 and Wishes is at 9:00pm. What do you think of the timing? If we happen to get done with dinner early, we'll walk down to the beach to watch but I'm kind of hoping for fireworks with dessert!

For our trip, we've got a 9:25 reservation so i plan to see the 9pm fireworks from the beach and then hopefully see the water parade and then go in for dinner.
