Tell me about Whispering Canyon Jiko & Narcoosee...

There was not much dining selection available. I have ADR's for Whispering Canyon, Jiko and Narcoosee for two adults, a 7 yo and a 4 yo.

Any thoughts on these restaurants?

I am trying to get Chef Mickey's of Mickey's Backyard BBQ but both are booked.

WCC - We liked it good food & good fun
Narcoossee's - A signature resturant = Awesome
Jiko- trying in Aug/09 heard all good. Heard they have good mac & ch.

Love Chef Mic's my all time favorite
BYBBQ - Was a lot of fun 7 good good.

We LOVE all three with Narccoossee's being over favorite. I think you will be pleased with all of them. Narccoossee's and Jiko are of course a "signature" dining experience and well worth it. Try the mac'n'cheese at Jiko....YUMMY! WCC is very good as well. I got the meatloaf one time and it was very good. My DH likes the all you can eat bar-b-q skillet and I like that as well. The food quality at all three is right on the mark! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

We enjoyed our meals at both Jiko and Narcoossee's last trip. They're now on our must do list for next time.

Just a note on Jiko with a 4 and 7y.o. Our last meal there in August was wonderful. It also took 3 1/2 hours. This is a restaurant that is truly a dining experience. We saw several families come in very late with little ones and seem to rush through their meals. To me that is a waste. It's definitely an upscale very slow and deliberate meal.

DH and I went to Whispering Canyon on our recent trip (September 1 - 9) and it was by far the worse meal of our trip...we did not like the food at all (DH actually got sick for the rest of the night)

With the kiddos, I would recommend WCC. It's a definite family atmosphere. Jiko and Narcoosee's are slower paced, fine dining type restaurants. If your kids are used to places like that, they're wonderful as well. If you don't think they'll be interested in sitting through dinner for a few hours, I'd skip it.
