Tell me about WDW in Mid December

We just booked 9 days at BWV for 12/9 to 12/18 this year. In all our visits, we've never been at Xmas time and can't wait. The decorations, MVMCP, snow on Main St...

My question is, how are the crowds and how is the weather?

December is a great month to visit, the later in the month the more crowds start. I think you will be Ok in that dept. Disney is beautiful when it is a decked out for the holidays, check out some of the other resorts also each has it's own personality for the holidays! Try to get tickets for the MVMCP on a week day, since locals hit them on the weekends and they tend to be busy then.
Weather.....well expect anything and everything! I have actually gone to some of the MVMCP's wearing a ski jacket! Last year it was nice but the day after it was cold and rainy. The weather is hard to predict but you will more than likely need sweatshirts in the evenings. As your trip gets closer just check the weather sites.

Pack for both extremes. We have been and it been 76 in the daytime and 60's at night. Last year we went to MVMCP on 12/19 and it was in the low 40's to upper 30's by the time we got back to our hotel. Had to buy hats and gloves. We wore layers of clothes as we didn't have heavy coats with us. There can be a bid difference from day to day also. Just be prepared. December is a great time to go. The decorations are awesome. Be sure to check out the other resorts also. The GF has a lifesize Gingerbread House in the Lobby and the different trees at each resort are amazing. Have a great time. We will be there the end of December.
