Tell me about WDW in February

We returned in June from our 1st ever trip to WDW and we're hooked!!! At least I am and I think DH is too...hee-hee I would go again tomorrow if I could, but that probably won't happen. Anyway, we are looking to go again February 2007 which will also be a family trip of sorts with aunts/uncles/cousins/grandma. Can you please please tell me what the weather is like then? Can we swim? And how about the crowds? I've heard that a couple weeks in Feb can be just as busy as summer due to the Daytona NASCAR races, anyone know first hand?

I have been really slacking on my trip report but we did have a great time and did use MYW with Dining so ask away if any questions are out there.

We are February pople every year for 4 year now. Yes, if Pres. Week and Nascar colliade it can be busy. (Pres. Week is usually our week because of DD's school). If you don't have high hopes for a million things Sun/Mon the crowd definetly goes down as the week goes on. It is very managable though. As for swimmming, yes it good for that. The pools are all heated and depending on the year it has been mid 70's to mid 80's. We love it, as it is a great break from the NE cold.

Thanks, so have you ever been in June? I'm just curious as to the crowd levels mid-June versus the NASCAR weeks in Feb? Actually, June was a bit too much based on heat AND crowds...I think I could handle crowds in Feb without the heat.

I haven't been in June, but Feb. is a wonderful time to go in my opinion. You can do almost everything; swim, enjoy the parks, go to the water parks, etc. The worst time would be to go during Presidents' Week. We always go a week ahead of it, and we don't have any problems at all.
