Looking ahead, that seems like a possible time for our next visit. We would likely begin our trip on 1/14 and leave 1/21. MLK day is 1/16/06. What has been your experience visiting during that time? Will it be cold? Crowds? yada yada yada.... TIA

We were there the same time in 2003. It was cold but that was an extremely cold winter. Only the last day was unbearable (29 when we got up) but we did get to swim one day. We had a terrific time. Avoided MK until Wednesday and spent the actual holiday in MGM. While it was crowded it was not unbearable and the rest of the week was terrific with little or no waits and nice but chilly weather. Just plan your meals ahead of time. That was the only time we experienced crowded conditions and were glad we had PS most nights! Have fun. It was a super trip and I recommend the time period!

That is the weekend of the International Home Builders Show. Last year it put 110,000 people in orlando. I am not sure how busy it made the parks after the trade show ended. I know a lot of people I work with stayed and went to WDW after the show ended. I did make it to EPCOT for EMH one night and the place was empty.
