This is the first time my family will get to see this as we usually arrive just a few days after it is over for the summer.....so I really want to check it out.

Where exactly does this take place?

Is it difficult to see if you dont wait for a long time for a good spot?

WHere is a good spot?

What time does it take place.....we are arriving on 8/16 - the last day it is showing....

How long is it....I am thinking of making a dinner reservation at the HRH for after it is over.

THANKS!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!

it takes place in the lagoon.
believe it starts at the end of the park day.

check out the park guide for the times.
park closes at different times then when i usually go so i'm no help with it.

the 360's were used during hhn before.
i stayed in the area by lombards to watch it.
good view there.

When we were there last month, it started at 9:45pm and the parks closed at 10pm. The fireworks were great. Even the kids liked it - movie clips and all - and they are 12 and 8.

We stood on the bridge over by the Simpsons Ride and had a great view. I'm working on my trip report and will be putting a few pictures of Universal 360 in it if you want to see what part of it is like.

Last time I went to Disney I had to get there VERY early to get a good view of the night parades. Is 360 the same way. What time should I stake out a spot by the lagoon for the show?

Thanks

We were there last month also. We didn't have to stake out a spot extra early at all. Just walked right up. We watched right in front of The Simpsons Ride. It was very cool, they have lasers and fireworks and they show clips of all the Universal Movies, my youngest son LOVED that they showed
Jurassic Park! :lmao:

I'm there is October when the park closes early (5pm) for HHN. I'm assuming that the Universal 360 show will not be shown? Or could it be shown after HHN? I cannot seem to find a schedule on the website.

There is a great view by the walgreens area...there are actually pictures that run on the wall of the building there during the show. the second time we saw it, was by the International Food and Film. we walked right outside and headed down the steps to the water and had a great view of the fireworks and the cinesphere globes. I was impressed at both places.

films of years past and old hhn icons were shown one year on the globes during hhn.

a tad of fireworks went off in the mib area.
i stood by lombards and it seemed like the fw were coming from that direction.

i stood there as i had a good view of the globes.
there was a time period in the hhn map guide for the globes. it came on at various times during the hhn event not at the end of the park hours.
