I've been to WDW 4 times and will be heading out next Saturday for my first stay at Fort Wilderness. YIPEE!!! I've seen mention of people making signs for their sites (like the green Mickey head to help people recognize other DisBoard members); but, I can't find anything specific about how/where they are posted. If there are sign posts, I don't want mine to be sad and empty. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Judy

Thanks! There is so much good information on DisBoard. Thanks for helping me earn my ears. :flower3:

Oh... Great Gonzo... I see you are in Columbus. I grew up in Lancaster. GO BUCKS! Judy

I copied one of the musket mickey signs and then glued it to a board I had stained and then decopaged it. I know have a cool camping sign.

I took the design of the sign and made it into a sign the size of a real estate for sale sign, like the one that has the metal stakes that go into the ground. I cut vinyl for the ears and the name and such and printed a musket mickey on a clear shipping label and covered it with laminating film to protect it from the weather. There are several of us that have them. You can't miss us.

Thanks for the feedback. The idea of using a real estate-type sign makes sense since Florida is so sandy. I stopped by Home Depot today and picked up some Mickey Mouse paint chips. Now I need to spend more time reviewing all the creative signage that has been posted here.

7 days and counting till we leave!!
