Tell Me About The Member Cruise

Has anyone ever been on it? What do they mean by specail activities? The points are actually higher in some categories than a regular disney cruise and I am wondering why. Are there still shows at night?
How is Castaway Cay for adults only?

The points are higher than a regular 4 day DCL cruise, but, there are many special speakers, events and gifts that justify it to many including us. The tips traditionally are included also which is a big savings.

There are still the evening shows, before or after dinner depending upon your seating. You will find less children on the member cruise mostly due to the selection of September for many of them. With school just starting, it can be difficult to take them out of school for this cruise.

As a result, the adult beach on Castaway Cay is quite crowded! DH and I stick to the family beach on the member cruise which is far less populated than on a regular 4 day.
