Tell me about the Maya Grill.

The breakfast that we ate there in December was awesome! We loved the offerings on their breakfast buffet. When we crunched the numbers, a buffet meal there was cheaper than a breakfast meal, of our usual fare, at the Pepper Market once you factored in the gratuity and tax. While the Pepper Market offers a good variety of foods at other meals, let's face it, breakfast is breakfast, is breakfast. There are just so many ways that you can make scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits, toast, biscuits, & gravy. The coffee at Maya is not that nasty Nescafe stuff either, it's Italian Pressed coffee and it's wonderful. I will go so far as to say that it was the best cup of coffee of our entire trip.

We did not dine there for lunch or dinner, but I always hear good things about those meals too. Maggie

One of the best kept secrets at WDW! Been there 2 times for dinner, and it was excellent both times. The chimi churri oil and bread they give you at the beginning is awesome! My DH and I have had ribs, chicken, beef tips and steak there all of it wonderful. The service is friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and not crowded at all. You will not be disappointed here.

IO also am planning to try Maya for the first time when we go next month. Anyone know what kind of deserts are served? I really am looking forward to trying a desert at every restaurant since we are on the dining plan.

We stayed at CSR in Dec and went 2x to Maya Grill. We were on dining plan and this was our first meal (11 family members/5 kids) and it was unbelievalbly smooth! The waiter was so nice and explained everything to us and all of the adults loved their food.

My only complaint is the kids menu is very limited and not really geared towards your average 4/5 year old if you know what I mean.
My husband and I had babysitting duty the 2nd time we went and didn't feel like counter food so we braved it with the 5 kids in our party while the other adults went out. I felt bad ----there was so much food wasted, it just wasn't there cup of tea! Again, our meals were fantastic!

I saw the kid's menu and was surprised they didn't have chicken fingers. The only thing my kids would come close to eating is the pasta side that comes with the chicken parm. They will not eat chicken parm, so that would be a big waste.
