Tell me about the Fantasmic dinner pkg

What is it? (I've seen it mentioned several times) Where (I know MGM) is it? How do you reserve?

The fantasmic dinner package is dinner at one of three restaurants: Mama Melrose, Hollywood and Vine or Brown Derby. You pay a flat fee for dinner and you get not only dinner but a coveted ticket to Fantasmic for that evening (if there are two showings, it's only good for the early show). The ticket allows you little or no waiting in line and the seats are reserved to the right of center.

The advantage is not having to wait two hours in line to get a seat for the show. In my opinion a must do if you have small children. My kids 7 and 4 would never be able to wait 2 hours to do anything.

Thanks for the info. I don't think even I want to wait 2 hours to see. (which is probably why we skipped it the last time)

You bet. You simply call Disney Dining: 407 939 3463. Tell them you want the Fantasmic dinner package. They will ask you what restaurant and you go from there.

Traditionally the PS times have been very early. Ours on June 1 is at 4:10 PM. Go ahead and take the early time. Usually about 25 days out you can call back and change it. They open up some later seatings as time draws near.
