Tell me about the car care center please

We're renting a car at MCO when we arrive because we're spending 3 days at the beach, we're going to do a 1-week rental and return the car at the car care center (got a great $116 rate at National), we have magical express transportation ressies for our return to MCO.

So how inconvenient/convenient is it to return a car at the car care center? I assume they shuttle you back to your resort or other convenient location? Do you call them ahead of time? How does it all work?

YOu do need to make a reservation for a ride from the Car Care center to a resort or park. Hours for that are limited, I think it is 8 AM to 6 PM. If worse comes to worst you could walk, I am guessing it is a mile from the Car Care center to the monorail station at the MK parking area / Transportation & Ticket Center. From there you can go anywhere on site.
