How is the food? We would like to go for dinner, what do you think?

We love Storyteller's Cafe. First and foremost, I just really adore the atmosphere in there. It's just plain cozy, warm and inviting to me.

Dinner is not a character meal, but I love the food there. I don't eat enough to justify the high cost of the buffet, but I have tried a few things on the menu that I have really liked. I don't know if you have little ones or not, but my kids love to have the "make your own pizza" where they bring out all the components and the kids make and "decorate" it! It's a hit every time and it keeps them occupied while we are waiting on our food to come out.

Hope you have a great time!!

Andrea

One of our favorites, we usually do the buffet. When you see how much a salad and an entree is it is cheaper to do the buffet. I always look at the food before we sit down and usually am happy with what they have.

Everyone in our family likes it so we give it a big:thumbsup2

I really liked this menu until they changed the prices, took my favorite items of the menu and service dipped quite a bit. A lot of people still enjoy going here, but I avoid it knowing how good it was before. :(

do they always have a dinner buffet?

I'm pretty sure the dinner buffet is offered every day.

We ate there once. I wasnt inspired to go back. The service was so slow the night we ate there. Both of our kids fell asleep waiting for food. They were so asleep when the food came we could not wake them up. Dh had made 3 trips through the buffet before MIL and my meals came. I asked for some mayo for my (rather dry) burger. I gave up and used the horseradish from the buffet prime rib. After I was done eating they brought the mayo. Seriously the slowest service I've experiences anywhere in the resort.

We were there on Dec 27th. DH had the buffet and I had the salmon. I tried a little of DH's prime rib from the buffet. Both of us got food poisoning. Must have been the prime rib or hoarseradish, it was the only thing we both had. Our server could not have been nicer.

I love Storytellers. We tried Dinner there for the first time in September and went back in December because it was so good. Be sure to try the corn chowder on the buffet. Sarah was our server in September and she was wonderful. The bread they bring to your table is yummy too. We tried breakfast there in December and enjoyed that as well. Now Storytellers is on my must-do list for trips to Disneyland.
