Tell Me About Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes

We'll be staying at the new Ritz Carlton in Orlando after our Disney Cruise. Tell us all about it. We're most interested in the pool areas.

We were there in April. The pool is very pretty and attendants come to put rolled towels under your head and things like that. The service is great. You can also use the lazy river pool at the Marriott next door, which I heard was very nice.

The three things that we didn't like about the Ritz Carlton were the fact that they had double beds instead of queens, the rooms were kind of small (but the bathroom was huge), and they only had valet parking. We just prefer to park our own car.

I loved it.

The beds were very comfortable, but I was in a King Room.

There are several pools. The Ritz has a nice pool that has kind of a spa feel. However, the pool area is shared with the JW Marriott and they have a great lazy river pool.

The service was outstanding, but be prepared to tip a lot.

We stayed in the JW Marriott Grande Lakes adjacent to Ritz Carlton and I had a massage at the Ritz...it was absolutely wonderful...try the lazy river pool at the JW...it is fantastic and has zero entry too if you have children!!
