Tell me about Reglan Road

We had a GREAT meal there last year.
Just strolling through Downtown Disney around dinner time and decided to go there for dinner. Waited less than 10 minutes and had a terrific table where you could see the band and the podium that the girls "riverdance".

I can't remember alll the things we got but I do know my fish and chips were really terrific. It's 1 really big piece of fish. The fries were really good too. I thought it was better than the F&C in England at Epcot.

Great way to spend the evening. The entertainment was really great.

It is probably enough to say this. My Irish-American family comes from a suburb south of Boston. We've got at least fifty authentic Irish pubs within a mile of our neighborhood.

Raglan Road is the only restaurant in Disney we consider a "must-do" on every trip. :dance3:

For reals, there's a beer for every taste on tap, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful (OK, so it isn't as intimate and "everybody knows your name"-ish as a real pub, but why look for such authenticity at Disneyworld?) The band is energetic all night and doesn't mind obscure requests.

LOVED it! Here is some food for thought:

Risotto with shrimp

Definitely recommend.....my kids loved the Irish dancers too!

Have fun:goodvibes

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. Going to eat for the first time this November and now I am more excited about it than I was before after reading all these wonderful reviews. :thumbsup2

Same here! Although we'll be going in September for the first time. This post has me VERY excited about Raglan Road now. I have my eyes set on the It's Not Bleedin' Chowder and bread pudding!

I ate there in October, on my solo trip, and it was fantastic.

Dunbrody kiss.

Sorry for the low-quality pics, but I was using my cell phone. The Dunbrody kiss is AMAZING.

Three weeks from tonight and I'll be there! So glad to hear so many love it, its our first time there.

Gosh, I must have caught RR on an "off" night. My fish and chips were barely lukewarm and soggy (and some of the breading wasn't even cooked! There were little pockets that were still "liquid," like uncooked pancake batter!). Must have caught the chef on a bad night. Haven't returned since.

I was also not happy with how loud it was - the band was so loud, we couldn't hear each other talk. I did like the music, but it was extremely loud!

With all of these glowing reviews, I might have to give it another try next trip!

Yes, it is very, very loud when the band is playing. We still had lots of fun though, we just didn't talk much. LOL Just absorbed the atmosphere.

We also have this scheduled for our trip in August. We wanted to try it in 2008, but couldn't fit it in. It was one of the first ADR's I booked. Can't wait!

We too, ate there twice on our honeymoon in december...We loved it! Can't wait to go back popcorn::
