Never thought about RR for dinner but after seeing the menu I could eat here every night! Tell me about it. It will be DS 7 and me for dinner. From the couple of reviews it looks like it is kid friendly.

Raglan Road is one of our favorites and a must stop on almost every trip!

The atmosphere is terrific and the food is awesome!

It's a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy the music.

Cookes of Dubin ( Quick Service ) has terrific Fish and Chips too!

First off if you like ribs order the rib appetizer they are awesome! If you like scallops the scallop forest is awesome! That's what I order every time I go.

My boys & I were there last August & we are going back this trip....The food & service were great! We had a 7pm ADR & while we were DT it started to POUR & it didn't stop, we asked if they had any openings (it was about 515) & they were able to seat us right away :) I was surprised at how dead it was, even when we left there were only a few tables seated.....

We ate there for the first time a few weeks ago - and it is now in our top 3! My DD10 and DD13 loved it. Will definitely return. They have entertainment every evening (a band and irish step dancer) that does increase the noise factor a bit. The service was every bit as good as the food. Our waiter was quite charming and he knew it! ;)

The band is there 5 or 6 nights a week, not every night. And not all tables are in the main room with the entertainment.

The food is good. Many love the bread pudding; I've had better but it's decent. Because I find the food heavy here, I now get the tomato soup and it's very good.

Raglan Road was one of our favorite meals. I really enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie. The bread pudding? Our waitress described it as heaven in a cup. She was right!!!!!

I tried it for the first time a week ago. Have to say the bread pudding is :cloud9: good!
DD totally demolished her kid's shepherd's pie, I had to try it and have to say it was yummy. But I totally think the fish and chips were just ok.

I should've just stuck with the bread pudding... I totally want to go back there to get some more now. But I have to wait for 3 more years... :sad2:

We've eaten there twice now, it's probably our favorite or second favorite restaurant at WDW! (Le Cellier lunch may have just beaten out Raglan Road LOL)
Both times we got lucky and had tables really close to the band and table where the dancers dance. Both times 3 year old DD has gotten up and been dancing next to our table, trying to mimic the Irish dancing. Both times one of the dancers came over to talk to DD and tell her she was doing such a good job dancing. It was awesome! I even recorded video clips of the dancing and band so we can watch it at home. :thumbsup2

Raglan Road is a great find for us. We started there 2 trips ago and now it is a must do. In a Disney World where people are complaining about dumbed down menus, Raglan Road has a great selection. It is worth a visit for the bread pudding alone. The food, atmosphere and a Guinness are bonuses.

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. Going to eat for the first time this November and now I am more excited about it than I was before after reading all these wonderful reviews. :thumbsup2

We went to RR on our last trip and DH REALLY enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie! I had a mushroom risotto/prawn dish that was also excellent.......and a soup (it was the special that night, can't remember what it was) that was DELICIOUS. I think we are going to check out the Counter Service that is attached to RR on our next trip because I've heard it is also really good. Yum!

The is our traditional arrival day restaurant of choice....we have never had a bad experience here....we love everything about RR:cloud9:

We needed a TS restaurant at Downtown Disney, and by chance, I chose Raglan Road. I'm really looking forward to it now, since I've been reading many good reviews! :dogdance:

Raglan Road is now a must do for us. We have been 3 times and have enjoyed our food and the entertainment each time. Service has been great.
The band and Irish Step Dancer do not perform on Sunday's. There is a soloist who performs on Sundays,
Enjoy

We love Raglan Road. It's a must do for us, and we're even thinking about going twice this time.

We ate at RR on Friday May 6th. We loved everything abut it. A much greater food selection than most of the Park options, great food, wonderful beer selections. A must do restaurant for our next trip to WDW.
