Tell me about Pixie Hollow please

Hi guys, Pixie Hollow was not open yet last year when we were at DL. I know it's to do with fairies and Tinkerbell, but I have NO clue what this really is. Is it just a meet and greet spot? Is there other stuff to see/do, where is it at in the park? Is it open everyday off season? I have a 4 year old daughter who would LOVE to see Tink...

it was just a meet and greet for us-- waited about 45 mins-- but i think at night they might do some sort of light show.

It's a (VERY popular) meet and greet. It's between Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters and Matterhorn, along the parade route. Lines during the middle of the day can be 60+ min, so I recommend getting there ASAP. It's open every day, although the fairies that you can meet probably vary depending on the day/time of day, although Tinkerbell is almost always there I would guess.

Like the others said, Pixie Hollow is where you can meet Tinkerbell and her pixie friends (Silvermist, Irridessa, Rosetta and Fawn). They also started a light show recently. I asked a CM about it last week and she told me that they have a lighted fountain show every 15 minutes starting at 7:15pm and they have multiple shows. I actually got a glimpse of one while I was walking to Astro Blasters one night and it looked very pretty!

Edited to add that the show times might be different now since summer hours are over. Maybe someone else who went this week will be able to give you the current hours.
