Tell me about Pal Mickey

A friend had mentioned that Pal Mickey can tell you when charecters are doing meet and greets at a certain time if you are nearby. Is there any truth to this and what else can he do besides games for the kiddies?

You updates and reminders for Disney Shows and attractions.Tell corny jokes and updates his information each time you enter a park,we've taken our Pal Mickey for last 3 years and he does update info.Just point his shiny nose forward as you enter park and he will update.Paid $60.00 for ours and has been worth every penny,While waiting in que he can really make the time pass quickly it seems.

We bought our Pal Mickey a couple of years ago. When you are in the parks, he will vibrate and then you squeeze his hand and he will tell you a joke or interesting fact about the park wherever you are. For example, if you are by the Haunted Mansion he'll say something like "we're not going on that ride are we?", and he'll shake and say he's scared. He tells you what rides have no waits and what times the parades begin. At Animal Kingdom, he gives lots of info about animals and things over there. When you bring him home, you can still squeeze his hand and he will tell jokes. My DH said the newer Pal Mickey does even more, so we might get a newer one when we go. My DD (3.5) loves it, and carries it under her arm the whole time we are there.

Thanks so much for starting this thread and to those who have replied. I have been contimplating buy 1 or 2 Pal Mickey's. My DS(10) and DD(1.5) would like to have one.

He does fun things at home too! You can get a new 'old' model through Character Premier. Also they have them on Ebay for around $30.
