Tell me about Ohana's breakfast

We did Ohana's on our Feb trip. We loved it. Our DS6 loves Stitch so that was why we chose it. We saw Lilo and Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey. They did a parade where the kids got to do little shakers and he liked that. We loved the food. Love that it is served family style instead of buffet, they bring you a huge skillet full and will keep refilling it as long as you keep eating. We are going to Disney again in September and plan to go back. :thumbsup2

We just did this on Thursday. Started out w/ family photo and then seated shortly after. Our server brought out fresh fruit and a couple of different breads (cinnamon rolls, pineapple bread and biscuits) and took drink orders, coffee and oj and apple juice for DS5. Characters were Mickey, Pluto and Stitch. We had heard Lilo had called in sick, but was probably surfing. Awhile later, we were served a dish w/ the remaining breakfast items... bacon, sausage, potatoes, mickey waffles and some very runny eggs. :scared1: We ate pretty much everything (except for the eggs) and the kiddos wanted more so we asked for more of everything and asked that the eggs be cooked a bit more. The next time they were much better. I felt that the characters rushed by us a bit and one table had been skipped all together by Mickey. (he had gone to the kitchen for cheese and when he came back he must have forgotten where he left off) All in all it was a pretty good experience and we will probably do it again.

We are trying to decide between Ohana's for breakfast or dinner. We have never eaten at either. Just subscribing to get more info.

Thanks

I really want to do this because of Stitch, but the meal itself seems rather ho-hum. Most of the other character breakfasts have so much more to offer. Was anyone disappointed by the lack of variety at this meal? Frankly, I can't see my kids getting excited by any of the offerings except the Mickey waffles. Thanks for any info!

Ohhh my Goodness...you mean to say that Lilo is not there??? My daughter will be so saaaad :guilty:

Did this in January, it was great. Well the food is OK, nothing spectacular, but all you need for breakfast. I asked for white toast for my picky eater and it wasn't a problem.

I thought Stich was a great character for a meal, he has a lot of personality and was very entertaining. It was a slow time so he came back to our table many times and was just a funny each time. We also saw Mickey, Pluto, (my kids fav.) and Lilo ( who spends a good deal of time monitoring Stich's coffee intake!)
We will be doing this again for sure.
