So I have finally had enough of living through all of your trip reports and announced to the SO that we WILL be going to WDW next year '05, preferably October to avoid crowds and take advantage of still hot weather and MNSSHP. But tell me....will the parks and hotels be all cobwebby and Halloweeny for the whole month? To me there is something a bit odd about going to Disney and seeing pumpkins and cornstalks and such. What is it like?? Would late Sept be better? My older sister tells me that MNSSHP fireworks are to die for so i kind of want to see them.

honestly from what i can remember, there weren't many (if any) halloween decorations up at the resorts. (with the exception of at FW along the hayride trail which takes on a haunted hay ride theme for that season.)

The parks didn't have any eather except for a few things that they do not put away for the MNSSHP. (just a few cornstocks, hay bales and signs up during the day. they bust their humps to put up and take down the MNSSHP decorations in the small window of time between when MK closes on those days and when it reopens for the party.)

PS: you sister is right about the MNSSHP fireworks. they were great!!!! (we haven't seen Wishes yet, so i can't compair, but they were better than than fireworks show they had previous to Wishes.)
