Tell me about Mickey's Backyard BBQ

Have never been to WDW in summer and I read this is a seasonal dinner show. My kids are 10 and (almost) 8. Will they like this? How's the food? Worth the cost?

We were @ Mickeys BBQ in September and it was GREAT!!!!! It was one of the best times we had on this trip! Myself, Husband ,4 year old son and Mother all had a wonderful time. The Country Western band was great and We all had fun watching the " Rope Trick Guy" sorry I can't remember his name LOL. The food was served buffet style and was very tasty. The character interaction was A+!!! I even got to slow dance with Goffy! LOL MY DH who has a VERY hard time with the cost of Disney LOL was very happy that we did this . Have a great trip!!!
